Shifting Gears

The gloves come off, and the claws come out. *Hysterical laughter*. I'm starting to love this. Look who isn't so tush anymore. Ringing in the new month with a fabtacular party, which ended in a brawl for the ages. People beating the sense out of (or should i say "into") each other. Why do I love fights so much? I'm sure it's not healthy. Anyway, guys really did me proud. It was mad! And the girls? Oh boy! If someone had told me I would ever see them fencing, i would've called the person a liar.
On a more serious note, I'm stunned, but pleasantly surprised. How does somewhere go from conformist (more or less) to freakishly wild in a span of 24 hours? It's crazy, and yet totally cool (for those with warped minds). It's understandable for guys to pound on each other, and girls to fence. It's rare, but not uncommon, to see girls rip at each other. But, when a guy steps up, confidently, if i might add, to whale on a chick, you know somethings wrong.
I'm not naive. I know chivalry doesn't exist here. But come on. Whaling on a chick because your girlfriend's too much of a b***h? That's just low. It's even worse when the girl can take both you and your chick with both her hands tied behind her back. Fortunately, some girls still get the fairytale 'knight in shining Armour' who save the damsel-not-so-in-distress.
It's time to buckle up, and wipe the sleeping dust from my eyes. This semester just went into full speed, and i don't intend to miss the wonderful scenery on what promises to be a totally fabtacular ride.
